Receta Gingerbread With Hot Buttered Rum Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 stk butter
- 2 c. Brown sugar, packed
- 2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. Grnd ginger
- 2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 1 tsp Grnd nutmeg
- 2 lrg Large eggs
- 1 c. Buttermilk
- 1/2 c. Pecans, minced
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Margarine, melted
- 3 Tbsp. Rum
Direcciones
- Cream the margarine and brown sugar. Add in flour gradually. Set aside one c. of this mix for later use. To remainder, fold in baking soda and spices.
- Add in Large eggs and combine very well. Stir in buttermilk. Pour into an ungreased 12x8 inch pan. Sprinkle the reserved mix proportionately over top then top with the minced pecans. Bake for 30-40 min at 350 degrees. SAUCE: heat sugar and lowfat milk to the boiling point. Beat in margarine with a mixer then add in rum. Cook till slightly thickened. Top squares of the gingerbread with this delicious sauce.
