Receta Honey Pecan Crusted Chicken

Ingredientes
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 24 ounce skinless boneless chicken breast halves (4 -6 ounce breasts)
- 32 ounce chicken drumstick, no skin, R-Tablespoons-C (4 - 8 ounce legs)
- 1/4 c. honey
- 2 Tbsp. dijon mustard
- 3/4 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1 1/4 c. corn flakes finely crushed (about 4 c. uncrushed cereal)
- 1/2 c. pecans finely minced cooking spray
Direcciones
- 1. Preheat oven to 400F.
- 2. Sprinkle salt and pepper proportionately over chicken; set aside. Combine honey, mustard, paprika, and garlic pwdr in a small bowl; stir well. Combine cornflakes and pecans in a shallow dish; stir well. Brush both sides of chicken with honey mix; dredge in cornflake mix.
- 3. Place chicken pcs on a large baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
- Lightly coat chicken with cooking spray, and bake at 400F for 40 min oruntil done.
- You would expect Southern fried chicken to be served with lots of calories and fat. Not our version, though - we baked the chicken instead of frying it, and we gave it a crisp, greaseless crust made from crushed cornflakes and minced pecans.
