Receta Lemon Dream Bars

Ingredientes
- 1/3 c. Butter
- 1 c. Pillsbury Best All-Purpose Flour*
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. Coconut, minced
- 1/2 c. Funsten's Nuts, minced
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Double-acting baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp French's Vanilla
- 2 tsp Grated lemon rind
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 c. Sifted confectioners' sugar

- BAKE at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 min, then for 25 to 30 min.
- MAKES11/2 dozen bars. Cut butter into flour and 2 Tbsp. sugar till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Press mix firmly into ungreased 11x7, 9x9 or possibly 8x8 inch pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 15 to 20 min till set but not brown. Combine in mixing bowl, the Large eggs, brown sugar, coconut, nuts, salt, baking pwdr, and vanilla. Spread over partially-baked dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min. Frost immediately. Cold 15 min; cut into bars. Lemon Frosting: Combine lemon rind, lemon juice and confectioners' sugar. Mix till smooth.*For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit baking pwdr and salt.
