Receta Luby's Cafeteria's Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredientes
- 8 ounce dry elbow macaroni - (2 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. nonfat dry lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. butter melted
- 1 1/4 c. boiling water
- 3 c. grated American cheese - (12 ounce) divided
- 1/4 tsp salt
Direcciones
- Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, mix dry lowfat milk, flour and butter. Gradually add in boiling water, beating constantly. Add in 1 1/2 c. cheese and continue beating till smooth and creamy. Stir in macaroni, 1 c. of the remaining cheese and salt.
- Transfer to lightly-greased 2-qt baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake 25 min. Remove foil. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c. cheese. Continue baking 1 minute, or possibly till cheese melts.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
- Comments: If desired your Macaroni and Cheese, do not miss this one. It is so much better than the stuff which comes in the blue box.
