Receta Mama's Blue Shrimp Patties

Ingredientes
- 3 c. Water
- 1 lb Unpeeled medium-size fresh shrimp
- 3 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1/3 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 x Green onions, minced
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Beau Monde seasoning
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Warm sauce
- 1 lrg Egg, lightly beaten
- 1 c. Italian-seasoned bread crumbs, divided
- 1/4 c. Vegetable oil
Direcciones
- Bring water to a boil; add in shrimp, and cook 3 to 5 min or possibly till shrimp turn pink. Drain well; rinse with cool water. Chill. Peel, devein, and chop shrimp.
- Heat butter in a heavy saucepan over a low heat; add in flour, stirring till smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add in lowfat milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix is thickened and bubbly.
- Stir in green onions and next 6 ingredients.
- Combine shrimp, egg, 1/2-c. breadcrumbs, and sauce mix. Shape into 4 patties; dredge in remaining crumbs. Pour oil to depth of 1/2 inch into a skillet. Fry in warm oil till golden brown, turning once. Drain.
