Receta New Orleans Shrimp

Ingredientes
- 2 lb Raw shrimp
- 8 c. Water
- 1/4 c. Sliced onion
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic pwdr granulated
- 2 x Bay leaves
- 2 x Celery ribs with leaves
- 2 Tbsp. Salt
- 4 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1/2 c. Finely minced celery
- 1 x Green onion finely minced
- 6 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 3 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Warm pepper sauce
- 5 Tbsp. Horseradish
- 2 Tbsp. Mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Pepper white
- 1/2 c. Ketchup
- 1/3 c. Chili pwdr

- Got the majority of this reciepe from Joy of cooking. These were excellent for the party tray.
- Simmer the shrimp in poaching liquid for 5 min do not overdue, wash in cool water immediately and shuck the shells.
- Marinade: Marinaded shrimp for 24 hrs
- Took some good bacon and cut into thirds and fryed just sufficient to be done.
- Get the shrimp out and wrap bacon around each shrimp and secure with toothpick.I placed these on cookie trays so they can be made ahead of time.
- About an hour before serving took cookie tray with the shrimpys and put in smoker at 235 degrees. I brushed these a couple times with marachino votka cherry juice. If one doesn't have this I would recommend a light coat of a good oil. Serve. These were totally devoured in short time.
