Receta Oak Alley Restaurant Bread Pudding

Ingredientes
- 8 c. Sugar
- 10 c. Lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. Raisins
- 10 x Po-boy loaves or possibly hoagies
- 10 x Large eggs
- 1/2 c. Vanilla extract
- 1/2 lb Butter
- 1 c. White sugar
- 2 c. Water
- 1/4 lb Butter
- 1/2 c. Whiskey
Direcciones
- For the pudding 1. Mix all ingredients except bread. Break bread into pcs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- 2. Mix into bowl with hands. Pour into a 9 X 24 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 1-1/2 hrs.
- To Make the Sauce: 1. Boil water, sugar and butter for 30 min. Add in whiskey.
- 2. Remove from heat. Pour over hot bread pudding.
