  1. Slowly brown meat in shortening. Add in onion and garlic, then salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cube in warm water and add in to meat. Cover and simmer for 25 min. Add in tomatoes and green peppers and continue cooking for 10 min. Combine cornstarch, cool water and soy sauce. Add in to meat mix. Cook 5 min longer. Serve over rice or possibly noodles.
  2. Yield: 6servings.
