Receta Pineapple And Cherry Butterscotch Cake

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Flour
- 3 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 3 x Large eggs, beaten
- 2/3 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Â Â Brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 can (16 ounce.) sliced pineapple
- 1 sm Jar maraschino cherries
- Â Â Whipped cream
Direcciones
- Sift together the flour, baking pwdr and salt; set aside. In another bowl, cream the sugar and shortening; add in Large eggs. Add in lowfat milk alternately with the dry ingredients to creamed mix. Add in vanilla and mix well. Grease a 10 inch round cake pan and line with brown sugar, about 1/2 inch deep. Dot with butter. In the pan, place slices of pineapple with a amaraschino cherry in center of each. Pour the cake batter over the mix in the pan.
- Bake at 350 for 50 min. Turn out onto plate and serve warm with whipped cream topped with cherries.
