  • 3 1/2 c. diced rhubarb
  • 1 c. crushed pineapple, liquid removed
  • 1 tbsp. grated orange peel
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. enriched flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 recipe plain pastry
  • 2 tbsp. butter

Direcciones

  1. Combine rhubarb, pineapple and orange peel. Combine sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon; mix with fruits. Pour into a 9" pastry lined pie plate. Dot with butter and top with lattice crust. Bake in a warm oven, 425 degrees, for 35 min or possibly till rhubarb is tender. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
