Receta Plain Cake Mixture

Ingredientes
- 100 gm butter
- 1/2 c. sugar (caster)
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1Â 1/4 c. flour, plain
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/10 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Direcciones
- Sift the flour, baking pwdr and salt together.
- Beat the butter and sugar in mixer till creamed, add in the Large eggs one at a time, then 1 Tblsp of the flour , the lowfat milk and vanilla. Mix in the remaining flour by hand without losing volume in the mix.
- Pour into greased paper-lined tins 20 cm diameter and spread the mix proportionately.
- Bake at 190C/380F for 25-30 min till set and lightly coloured.
- Allow the cake to stand for 5 min before turning out.
- Cooking times vary with size and shape of cake.
