Receta Soft Spice Bars

Ingredientes
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup plus 2 tbsp sugar, divided
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
Direcciones
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, 1 cup of the sugar, and the molasses
- Beat in the egg until smooth
- Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, ginger, and the cloves
- Stir into the molasses mixture
- Spread into a greased 15 x 10 inch baking pan
- Sprinkle with remaining sugar
- Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned (Do Not Overbake)
- Cool on a wire rack
- Cut into bars
