Receta Tabasco Brand Green Eggs And Ham

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. olive
- 2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 2 lb baby spinach washed
- 2 c. basil leaves 2 c.
- 3 quart half-and-half
- 30 x Large eggs beaten
- 2 c. Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce
- 2 1/2 lb French bread cut 2" cubes
- 3 lb Prosciutto ham sliced paper thin
- 2 c. grated Asiago cheese
Direcciones
- In a large skillet heat extra virgin olive oil. Add in garlic and cook till pale brown, then add in spinach and basil and cook till just wilted. Let cold.
- Transfer spinach mix to a blender or possibly food processor, add in 1 qt half-and-half, Large eggs and Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce. Blend well, cover and chill till needed.
- In well-greased 2-inch deep hotel pan, cover the bottom with half of the bread cubes, then layer with prosciutto and 1 c. of cheese. Cover with remaining bread cubes.
- Remove egg mix from refrigerator, stir very well and pour proportionately over the bread mix; top with remaining cheese. Press bread cubes into egg mix to saturate. Cover with plastic, then wrap in foil and chill at least 3 hrs before baking.
- Bake covered in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 min. Uncover and continue baking for 25 to 30 min till egg mix is hard.
- This recipe yields 18 to 24 servings.
