Ingredientes
- Â Â The green onions and water chestnuts add in crunch, the marinade adds a little
- Â Â sweetness. The marinade makes the meat a little softer, though, so the burgers
- Â Â are a bit crumbly.
- 1Â 1/2 lb grnd round or possibly chuck
- 1/2 c. finely minced water chestnuts
- 4 x green onions, minced, including part of green tops (about 1/4 c.)
- Â Â Vegetable oil or possibly nonstick pan spray
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. dry sherry or possibly orange juice
- 1 x clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp molasses or possibly packed brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp grnd ginger
Direcciones
- Mix grnd meat, water chestnuts and green onions, tossing lightly. Shape into 6 patties, about 3/4 inch thick. In resealable plastic bag or possibly shallow nonmetal dish, combine marinade ingredients. Add in patties, turning once to coat.
- Chill at least 3 hrs and up to 24 hrs. Prepare grill, brushing or possibly spraying rack with vegetable oil. Remove patties from marinade and grill, uncovered, over medium-warm fire for 10 to 15 min, turning once, till juices run clear. Serve immediately.
