Receta Tex-Mex Breakfast Pizza
To make it easier, use referigerated pizza dough. Works with chorizo, or any breakfast meat.
Ingredientes
- 2 small potatoes, diced
- 2 tbs. diced onion
- 3 eggs
- 6 pieces bacon
- 1/2 tbs. chopped chives or cilantro
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 2 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheese (pepper jack is good)
- 1/3 cup salsa
- 1 pizza shell, 10 inches
- optional: diced jalapenos
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 450 F.
- Arrange the pizza dough in a round, oval or rectangular shape in a pan.
- Fry the bacon, reserving fat.
- Fry the potatoes and onions until golden brown, add cilantro.
- Scramble in the eggs and salt and pepper to taste.
- Brush the salsa on top of the dough.
- Add the scramble eggs and potatoes.
- Dot the pizza with dollops of cream cheese.
- Place tomato slices on top, followed by bacon slices arranged in a wagonwheel shape.
- Sprinkle on cheese and bake 12 minutes.
