Receta Turnip Cheese Bake

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 lbs. turnips, thickly sliced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. sharp American cheese
- Parsley and paprika
Direcciones
- Cook turnips in boiling salted water till tender. Heat butter, blend in flour, salt and dash of pepper. Add in lowfat milk all at once. Cook till thickened. Stir in cheese till melted. Combine cooked, liquid removed turnips and cheese sauce in 1-qt casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 min, or possibly till top is bubbly. Sprinkle with parsley flakes and paprika.
