Receta Almond Squares

Ingredientes
- 1/2 lb Butter
- 1 c. Sugar
- 3/4 c. Flour sifted
- 1 c. Grnd almonds
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 6 x Egg yolks
- 16 x Blanched almonds
Direcciones
- Cream the butter; gradually add in the sugar, beating till light and fluffy. Combine the flour, grnd almonds and salt. Add in a little at a time to the butter mix, alternating with 1 egg yolk at a time. Turn into a buttered 8-inch-square pan. Mark off 16 squares and place an almond in the center of each square.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven 15 min or possibly till browned. Cut into sixteen squares.
