Receta Ham And Bean Soup With Vegetables

Ingredientes
- 1 lb dry Navy beans soaked overnight
- 1 x warm pepper
- 1 x carrot sliced Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 4 c. water
- 2 lb ham butt - (to 3 lbs)
- 1 x onion sliced
- 1 pkt frzn peas
- 2 x garlic cloves
- 1 x green pepper diced
- 1/2 sm cabbage head shredded
Direcciones
- Drain beans. Place all ingredients except frzn vegetables and cabbage in crock pot. Cover and cook on LOW 10 to 12 (or possibly more) hrs.
- Turn to HIGH and remove ham. Add in peas and cabbage. Cook for 1 to 2 hrs on HIGH or possibly till vegetables are tender.
- Serve large bowls of this thick soup with crusty French bread.
