Receta Kid's Favorite Taco Casserole
Occasionally I babysit for the neighbor's kids. i found this recipe in a church cookbook years ago and thought it sounded good. I made it for the kids for dinner and they LOVED it.

- 10 taco shells, coarsely broken (divided)
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 large tomato, cut in wedges
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 2 T dried minced onions
- 2 cups (1/2 lb.) grated Monterey jack cheese (divided)
- 6 stuffed green olives, sliced
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place half of the broken taco shells in a lightly buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. In a large skillet, brown beef until crumbly. Drain. add taco mix and water. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in onion and tomato sauce. Spoon beef mixture over taco shells. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups of the cheese, the remainder of the taco shells and the remaining cheese. Top with tomato wedges and olives.Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot.
