Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. frzn corn kernels
  • 1 1/2 c. low fat, non-dairy (vegan) lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. onion granules
  • 15 1/2 ounce canned Great Northern Beans, rinsed and liquid removed
  • 1 lb fettucini cracked black pepper

Direcciones

  1. Thaw the corn kernels by transferring them to a mesh strainer and placing them under warm, running tap water. Stir carefully till completely thawed, drain well, and measure
  2. Place corn, lowfat milk and seasoning in a blender, and process till completely smooth. (It may take several min to completely pulverize the corn).
  3. Pour the the blended mix in a medium saucepan and stir in the beans.
  4. Hot over medium-low till the beans are heated through, stirring often.
  5. While sauce is heating, cook the fettucini in a large pat of boiling water till al dente. Drain well and return to the pot. Add in the warm sauce and toss till proportionately coated. Serve immediately, topping each portion with a generous amount of cracked pepper.
