  • 2 x Grouse cut into pcs
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Mace Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Powdered cloves Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1/2 lb Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 x Onions sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 12 ounce Tomato sauce
  • 12 x Olives sliced
  • 1 x Celery rib sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced parsley
  • 1/2 c. White wine

Direcciones

  1. Shake the grouse pcs in a bag with flour, salt, and pepper. In a casserole dish saute/fry the pcs in oil till golden brown-brown. Add in the onions, green pepper, celery, and parsley. Saute/fry for 2 min. Add in the wine, oregano, mace, cloves, and cover, and simmer for 10 to 15 min-till meat is tender.
  2. In a separate pan saute/fry the mushrooms in butter for a few min, add in the tomato sauce. Stir together with the sliced olives. Add in this mix to the grouse pan and serve.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
