Receta Linguine With A Toasted Almond Cream Pesto

Ingredientes
- linguini
- 1/4 c. toasted whole almonds, skin on, coarsely, minced
- 1/4 c. extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
- 2 clv garlic, chopped
- 1 sm bunch basil, stems removed, washed well salt, and, freshly grnd black pepper, to taste
- 2 Tbsp. 35% cream, optional
- 1 lrg field tomato, diced
Direcciones
- Put a large pot of water on high to boil and season liberally with salt.
- Meanwhile in a food processor combine the garlic, basil, extra virgin olive oil and pulse till smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Add in the cream if you like.
- Cook pasta in rolling boiling water for about 8 to 10 min or possibly till al dente. Drain.
- Toss immediately in pesto and sprinkle with tomatoes and coarsely minced almonds.
